Power begets ethical dilemmas and problems. In a forthcoming post, I mean to write about the flap over the use of the word “genocide” to describe what happened between the Turks and the Armenians in 1915-21 and, specifically, what the recent events tell us about Israel/Diaspora relations and about the hidden complexities of matters that at first blush seem quite straightforward, even simple.
